This spring has been packed with global trade shows, and one not to miss was IPACK-IMA in Milan, Italy. As the leading international event in Southern Europe for process technologies, packaging solutions, and new materials, we knew we needed to be present.

We teamed up with our Italian Preferred Partner, ITECH, who also collaborates with Ishida – a world leading supplier of food weighing and packaging machines and equipment. Together, we proved the power of partnerships as we created a strong united booth delivering innovative and reliable solutions. Our shared goal was to boost brand visibility and highlight how we provide new and innovative solutions within the food packaging industry.

At IPACK-IMA we had the privilege to showcase our range of Smart Tools. This included our new Smart Tool Foam and in particular Smart Tool Flex. The Flex Tool truly caught attention at the show. This solution provides the possibility to denest even the most difficult trays with rigid materials, uneven nests, and trays without lips.

Customers in the produce industry have long sought better ways to handle trays used in the produce segment. With the launch of the Smart Tool Flex we are now able to denest trays made of cardboard, pulp or other materials, which most traditional denesters have difficulties handling.

Best of all, the Smart Tools fit any QUPAQ denester – regardless of production year. This means that you can easily upgrade your existing production line. It takes less than 30 seconds to remove and insert a new Smart Tool. Production stop to restart takes no more than 1 minute. With the Smart Tool Flex you therefore get a free choice of tray, and you get to run them on the same line and equipment as you have today by only changing the tool in your QUPAQ tray denester.
