When one of the largest meat manufacturers in the US wanted a fully automated snack tray solution, they turned to Weber, Inc. for a state-of-the-art solution. Weber’s solution aimed to revolutionize snack tray packaging by introducing an entirely automated system to slice and handle products such as salami, cheese, and crackers.
Central to this high-efficiency system was QUPAQ’s Smart Buffer Servo Twin, a dual-lane tray denester capable of denesting 180 trays per minute. Normally, trays are denested onto a flat belt conveyor or a tray plate. However, what is special to this solution is that each tray is denested into a tray frame, which requires high accuracy and speed from the denester to meet the customer’s high-demand requirements.
